This is true. So, who will you become and shall I rename myself too (How
about 'Salty')? Then we can really talk about lovely sailing! I'll even tell you about the impromptu race we won last weekend against a formidable fleet leaving the same harbour after the long weekend! It was 15-25 knots at 40-70 deg app with our boat speed of up to 8.6 knots. It took us 1 hour to pass one of our sister boats to windward. It was great watching her roll to at least 45 in the swell and sea and realize we must be doing the same! We had a couple of lovely evenings after 20-30 mile sails with great wine and a few DVD's. Sleep was broken only by the dawn chorus and the cats asking us to get up and play. Cheers Bobsprit wrote: Explain. Cheers Certainly. Look, I'm really sorry that I haven't been able to get wound up over Beneteau floorboards recently. I've been tired recently, and I haven't been up to my usual performance levels. I'll try harder. I promise! Don't go! Please!! If you stay, then I promise that I will get really *mad* every time that you mention a Beneteau's cabin sole. I've managed to do it for the last three years. If you give me another chance, I'm sure that I can do it for another three years!! Regards Donal -- |

The main was down on the traveller. Letting the main out more only
slowed the boat. The #2 was up and no one else had reefs. The swell was about 2m and quatering. The roll was impressive but the angle was wrong to get real surfing action. Helm was quite neutral except when rolling hard over. What would you do? Cheers Scott Vernon wrote: think, heel. "Nav" wrote in message ... I was steering a reasonably straight course.
