Man, it is sad to see the Republicans scraping the bottom of the
barrell like this. Having Rush question Kerry's Viet Nam record is
like having Robert Tilton question your religious principles. As the
Republicans chose Bush over McCain in the last election, it would seem
that military service doesn't mean much, anyway. Or qualifications,
for that matter.

He might have. I believe he dropped out of college in 1969. In any
event, he didn't beat a path to the recruiter's office. I guess by
the time this picture was taken Kerry was a decorated veteran and
college grad, while Rush was a drop out seeking work as a disc jockey.

I think the most obvious explanation was that it was his head up his
ass rather than a cyst, but that is water under the bridge. Perhaps a
trip to prison for his drug offenses will give him a real ass related
ailment. One can only hope
