Is that a "turbo" (what an awful name) version you are talking about?

However, I dispute the fact that a real sailor would ever use the
term "heeled" to describe the excitement that accompanies the act of

sailing

a Hobie 15 on a single hull.

What a load of crap. I sailed a Hobie 16 for the past two summers in

north

carolina dn you didn't.
The dictionary, Hobie website and even the chapman's terms says I'm

right.

Let us know when you ever sail a Cat of ANY kind!

If you're thinking of something I said, I made no mention of a jib.

I used to sail a hobie in San Diego many, many years ago. I don't
recall which one, but it was fairly large... sailed it off the Del Mar
coast. I believe 18 or 23 sounds right, but I can't remember. It
was my neighbor's and those days he just left it on the beach without
worrying if anyone would steal it.

You know... I can't even remember that. All I remember is having lots of
trouble getting through the waves. Capsized at least 1/2 dozen times trying
to get out.

Hey Nutsy,

If you think you are being Salty about terms, Let's talk "Salty"

Every boat has an "Optimiun Heel angle" A good sailor knows what that
is; If the Sails are Trim TO RELEASES POWER then it's time to SET NEW
SAILS and come up with a NEW ANGLE!
IT'S TIME TO STRAIGHTEN UP AND SAIL RIGHT!

Take that you Lubber

Sorry Nutsy,

That should have been a "NEW SLANT" rather than a new angle

I'll get the salt shaker out and re-season my Old Bones

SAILS POWERED UP: All sails that are set trimmed for their maximum
effiency

Cut of their jib: The French and Spaniard sailing ships, in the days of
the square rigs, would cut their jibs rather thin to keep from being
blown off course in the stormy Bay of Biscay,
