Default Red Heads

Speaking of redheads, was Ms Terry a man at one time?

I have no idea what a "Red Head" is, but this picture has several

interesting
features:

http://terraserver.microsoft.com/ima...23465&z=19&w=2

A Fletcher Class destroyer
A Lightship
A Famous Frigate in unusual circumstances
A Sailing Club named after a famous 12-meter (the 12-meter is not present

in
this pic)
Two marinas with 5 slips I've occupied (I'm currently about a mile North)

Why was Seaman Broady required to use the Red Head during WWII?

Broady was stationed on a fletcher class tin can?

But most early WWII and WWI ships had red heads to.

The Battleship Texas has 2.

Good for 5 asa points
