Default Boat polishers

I'd say there are really two main types of polishers: Cutters and
detailers. Cutters are designed to remove paint and may run at up to
3000 rpm. Detailers are designed to go much slower -as low as 500 rpm
and provide a mirror finish with an orbital pattern. Some polishers do
both and may not be very expensive. FYI I only just polished the lovely
Ella to a mirror finish (while cutting the topsides as well) a few eeeks
ago. The above is, of course, only my opinion.
