Geeze, what a bunch of crap, get the most powerful De Walt you can justify paying for and a pocket inverter. Also get an extra battery. I use them every day in my job, you cannot beat De Walt for service, availability and initial quality. Finally, somebody with some decent advice. We use De Walt exclusively, two 24 V hammers, 4 18 V drill/drivers, an 18 V circular saw and an 18V reciprocating saw, plus of course a whole mess of batteries. Cheers Marty |

I found the 18V circular a bit light for most wood work. I also found the batteries tend to go quick under prolonged and constant loads. Nice tools for a quick job or repair though. Great for around the boatyard. To bad Bobsprit isn't allowed to work on his boat at the boatyard. He'd buy a set in a jiffy! CM |
