When I was working in the trades everyone preferred Makita, though that's
probably changed. Standard these days is 18 volt, though I don't see why you would need to carry one ON the boat. I can't think of any emergencies that might require the use of a cordless drill. I looked at the description of this particular drill, nothing stood out, not water resistant, doesn't even come with a waterproof carrying case. Spend your money on a good 18v, something you can leave at home, and take down to the boat on the rare occasion that you actually need to drill some holes.
