I've heard four times this week (and it's only tuesday) how "Southerners don't know how to drive in snow," and there are over 1200 wrecks in the Raleigh area in the past 48 hours. But all the Southerners I know are staying right at home! DSK Snow? What is that? The only time we get freezing precipitation in Dallas it is some sort of ice storm. Fortunately, that is a fairly rare occurrence. I will say that no one around here knows how to drive, rain or shine. I was in Italy in early January and I found people were much better drivers than I am used to seeing around here. Then again, if we were driving vehicles not much larger than golf carts, perhaps people would be better drivers here, as well. |
