Default Will my boat need a station license?

Since my Ham radio will be aboard my boat, should I get just one station
license for my boat or an additional one for my apartment?
If I have one just for my apartment will I have to use the word "portable"
in my call sign when aboard my boat?
Is it legal to get a station license for a boat I don't legally own?

RB,

The way you sail you sure as hell don't need a Ham Radio.

You can use a cellular phone. You wouldn't even have to worry about a
Toll charge!

Get real!
