What I've seen is two dogs that live in the same household often form their own pack, and together will act much more aggressively towards other dogs than either would by themselves. I'm mistrustful of mixed breeds with chow genes, too. They're just plain mean. one of the reasons why when I had my grooming business that all dogs were crated with only the "subject" out...I sure didn't want the liability... Yep, lots of people are even more irrational about their dogs (or other pets) than they are about their kids. We have a dog park near us that is a lot of fun. We used to go to it a couple of times a week, dogs need exercise and the social activity is good for them too. Have to keep an eye on things though. DSK |
