What did everyone get???

My list will be posted Monday!

What was the highlight of your Christmas?

For me, the best bit was the whole family playing a silly word game, after
the dinner.

I really pity you. My highlight of the day was leaving after the
football game. (The North won again.)

And you sound like you had a lobotomy in the
week or so you were gone.

One thing the Standard Horizon has that no
other handheld I researched is a THREE YEAR
Warranty. Take that, Bobsprit!

My mapping Garmin mapping 76 was free (a gift), has a 3 year REPLACEMENT
warranty.

Why be sorry. Somebody paid extra for that three-
year replacement warranty which is really just an
insurance policy. It means nothing other than some
fool paid for what I got free from a manufacturer
who is willing to stand behind his unit for three
years. This should tell you something. It should
tell you the manufacturer expects his unit to
hold up for AT LEAST three years of use whereas
Garmin's paltry one-year warranty says they
believe their units are good for AT LEAST one
year. Hahah a hahah ah ha h ah ha! You get
what you pay for. If some fool wants to buy
as a gift an inferior unit and then pay extra
to insure it then it just goes to show your
friends are almost as ignorant as you are.

Lighting farts after a big Christmas dinner. Was careful not to set the tree
on fire.

Horvath asked:
What kind of sword? I've got plenty of swords. My favorite is an
authentic samurai sword, with an engraved and painted dragon handle.
I did some touch up on the handle myself.

Most people would call it a "katana." Gendaito, shinken, and a whole
buncha other Japanese words are all appropriate; but katana pretty
much describes it accurately.

But why do I suspect you're ****ing with me? I'm a practitioner, not a
collector; but I don't think "authentic" samurai swords have engraved
and painted dragon handles. Those are usually reserved for cheap
Chinese or Indonesian knockoffs made with stainless steel blades,
commonly referred to as "wall hangers." No reputable dojo would ever
allow the use of such a sword.

If there is such a thing as an historic katana with a carved dragon
handle, you've certainly harmed its value by doing your own touchup on
it. And if you're not ****ing with me, I apologize for my cynicism.
I'm just *very* excited about it and maybe a bit defensive, given that
my wife occasionally reminds me that we could have bought a new car
instead.

Maybe you use your "excitement" for a
sword to compensate for a small penis or
erectile dysfunction?

Nope, it was a gift but also through a friend who got us the warranty for
nothing.
Better in every way than your GPS and with a better warranty.

SORRY!

Bwahahahaha!
