Each year, 28,000 people get killed by guns in the US. In a 20 year

that will be 560,000!

Where did you (Donal?) dream up that number? The FBI's Crime in the United
States estimated that 63% of the 15,980 US murders in 2001 were committed
with firearms. That's 10,067, less than half your dream estimate. And
before you say that 10,000 is still too many remember that our MDs' "medical
misadventures" kill some 125,000 per year and like Saddam bury their
victims.

Are they terrorists or just grossly incompetent?

Another thot: every time I see a celebration in some "repressed
dictatorship" in the news I see poor enslaved citizens firing off their
fully automatic assault rifles into the air and wonder about why all of us
free peoples in the UK and America who are not allowed to possess such
weapons.

Yup, especially if you buy really good locks and security. My alarm system cost
more than your boat.

Actually, the remote for the alarm cost more than your boat!

Actually, the batteries for the remote for the alarm cost more than you boat!

Actually, the drive to the store for the batteries....

Oh, never mind.

Donal,

There are gun deaths and car death and deaths by execution in this
country but there are no mass graves for their removal. There are mass
graves being found in Iraq and they are Iraqis in those graves.

Those deaths in are country are caused by many different people . They
are the victims of one man.

Donal, your comparision makes no sense.

Your post on "Liberal" though was a Zinger. Well done

MsTerryMermaid trumps Suzanne. Terry is hot.

Horvath's babe might be as sexy but I don't
think he's posted a real picture of her - just
some stripper babe he snuck a Polaroid of.

Danny Taddae's babe is also hotter than Booby's.

om...

That is truly oneof the sad situations of war donel. If Saddam had
allowed the inspectors to inspect, and followed the UN res those
people would not have died. If you must blame someone blame Saddam for
it, it's his fault.

That's like blaming the burglary victim because he didn't lock his house up.

Look how Bush and Blair have changed their positions.

A year ago, Saddam had long range WMD that posed an international threat.
Now we are being told that he had short range battlefield WMD. Soon, we
will be told that he had no illegal weapons at all.

A year ago, Saddam was hosting Al Qaeda training camps. Now, we know that
Bush has admitted that there is no evidence to back that claim up.

A year ago, Saddam had mobile chemical facilities. Now we know that those
trucks were built in Britain, and were used to fill artellirey balloons.

A year ago, Saddam controlled one of the planet's biggest armies. Now we
know that it was an under-equipped rabble, incapable of fighting a real war.

So far, all the reasons that were used to justify the war, have been proved
to be false. Bush led his country into war under false pretexts.

You should be demanding his immediate resignation.

Before the war, Bush did not try to convince anybody that war was justified
by the fact that Saddan was evil. He sold the war on the basis that Saddam
posed a threat. That threat existed because Saddan had WMD, and the
intention to use them.

I didn't use the word murder.

Do the victims care? Do their families?

Was Saddam a terrorist? Is there a difference between a tyrant and a
terrorist?

Perhaps you are misinterpreting what you are seeing on your TV screen.

It's quite possible that many of these "spontaneous" demonstrations are in
fact well organised. The people that you see firing the guns might not be
ordinary citizens at all. They might be part of the state apparatus - don't
you think?
