Default Another reason to buy a Farr 40

Maybe I'll do that in my early retirement instead of the MUMM 30. I'll just
need to sell a few items.

Nope, well, a little.

Although the Etchells is not exactly a young man's boat .... it is a younger
man's boat, eh Oz?

Shucks the Etchells is a keel boat, a 'gentleman's racer' although I suppose that
Edwardian ideal could be stretched to include a hot meal & shower on board.

An Etchells is a damn sight less of a 'young man's boat' than a 470 or a 49er.

Anyway the Farr 40s are good looking boats at least. I can't recall if it was
them or another big boat that a friend was complaining about being fragile. Do
they go out and race in 20+ winds? There was some group that left wreckage all
over the starting line at the last NOODs we went to.

Buy a OD35. Less $ to start and maintain and they seem to be pretty bullit
proof.

Not enough to think about Donal.

Of course not. Depressing, isn't it? Just when you can afford a Ferarri,
you are too bloody old to really enjoy it!!
