Here's a nice one for sale over at uk.rec.sailing. The galley
looks as big as your mail salon. http://homepage.ntlworld.com/jim.bae...cification.htm Even I wouldn't mind owning an Oyster. S.Simon |

S.Simon roller furling, in mast furling and those big windows. Seems you wouldnt mind owning a boat with features you always knock. Joe |

But, it sailed from down under to England on its own
bottom. It must be pretty seaworthy. Much more seaworthy than Bobsprit's crummy C&C even with the big windows. Of course, it is less seaworthy than my Coronado 27 but it sure would be more comfortable living aboard a big boat like that. I could make a workshop out of that big ugly aft cabin and have room to store all sorts of good stuff for maintenance. Another thing in its favor is it's made out of GPR and not rusty old steel. Another thing in its favor is it's made out of GPR and
not rusty old steel like my boom. It's iron. And a quality repair indeed! http://members.aol.com/bobsprit/images/boomrepair.jpg RB |
