Katy is indeed useless here. She rarely has anything but quips and smug
comments and they are rarely funny. Her manic religious faith makes her a
cavewoman cowering to thunder among refined men of the sea. I don't remember
the last "sailing" thread she started, let alone anything of value added to
one. She treats this group like a flirting mailman dropping off junk mail to a
priest.
I politely ask for her resignation from the group, for the betterment of all.

I'm with Bobsprit in requesting Katysails resign from the
group. Her very presence draws unsuitable female participation
ala Lady Pilot, Lady Sailor, etc. Haggie is the only female here
who really deserves to be here. Haggie is hip, cool and an
actual boat person even if she doesn't sail a whole lot. Besides
that, Haggie is slim and sexy - not some butter hog like Katy.

Bobsprit is right more than he is wrong.

He is wrong when it comes to politics and he's wrong
when it comes to his evaluation of Coronado Yachts.
Other than that, even when he lies, he's more credible
than most of the losers and wannabes who frequent
this group because they have no life. Bobsprit has a life.
He has a beautiful and productive wife, a very nice
boat, a wonderful home theatre, some lovely model-type
lady friends, a successful career, money and influence,
etc.

Compared to Bobsprit you and I are lonely, failed hermits
living a life of solitude and despair. When I visit this group
and don't see posts from Bobsprit I become depressed.

Don't you talk bad about such a great fellow. If you would
treat Bobsprit with a little respect maybe he would do the
same for you but since Bobsprit is your superior it is up
to you to make the first move.
