![]() "Joe" wrote in message om... Iraq had ties to Al Qaeda..... Its a fact. I believe that some of the 9/11 terrorists received training in the US. Iraq was a secular state. Al Q'aeda wanted to replace all secular governments with Islamic rule. If the middle east can not take care of the redicals out to get the USA we will take care of them for them. That would be fine if you would identify them correctly. You had widespread international support for the action in Afghanistan. Why do you think that you do not have the same support for the action in Iraq? You seem to have a double standard. When I express my freedom of speach and present the facts you call me anti american. I think that you have misunderstood me. I don't recall calling you "anti-American". However, I do think that views such as yours are doing America's reputation great harm in the international community. For example, if Bush decided to attack Syria or Iran, he would not get British support. The political fallout from Iraq has been too damaging for the government. In fact, the British foreign minister has pre-empted any requests for assistance by stating unequivocally that Britian will not attack Syria. You no nothing about the American Dream. You did not grow up here, and its odvious you no nothing about us. We are fighting for the American dream. The freedom to go to work and not get bombed or have some radical crash our planes into us. If I believed that your actions would help the cause of freedom, then I would agree with you. However, the current war in Iraq will create more terrorists. The war is based on lies. The government that emerges in Iraq is likely to be abaout as popular as Saddam was. A majority of Iraqis want an Islamic administration, but the US is unlikely to allow that. Therefore, the Iraqi people will be unhappy, and the region will be unstable until the people get their will. While I am on the subject, I wish that people would stop saying that Iraq has been "liberated". They haven't had elections yet, so it is silly to say that they are free. Why is it that anybody who thinks that Bush is wrong gets labelled "anti-American"? ALL the evidence suggests that Iraq posed little, or no threat to international security. ALL the evidence suggests that Bush was wrong. Spoken like UDAy & Qusay the good time boys of bagdad. Let me say it again, slowly A L L t h e e v i d e n c e suggests that bush was wrong. If you disagree, then feel free to offer your reasoned opinion. Suggesting that I speak like Uday, or Qusay is just plain stupid. You know that it is stupid, I know that it is stupid and almost everybody else knows that it is stupid. The charitable view is that Bush is an idiot. The uncharitable view is that he is a liar who has lined his own, and his friends', pockets at the expence of world stability for at least a generation. Get a clue Donal. Go over and ask all the Jihad Islamic muslims that are brainwashed into killing us so called infidels to stop. When they do, we will not have to hunt them down and drop the hammer on them. Until then we will take care of our own. Hey! I've no objection to the US hunting down Muslim, or any other, terrorists. I'm just asking that you try to identify them first. Regards Donal -- |

Poor sods beating a dead horse!
Fact: The U.S.A. did what needed to be done in Iraq. Fact: Terrorists now know they no longer have a free ride. Fact: Pacifists can whine all they want and it ain't gonna change a thing. You are correct. Both Iraq and Osama are tied to the earth by gravity.
By that same force they are tied to each other. Cheers MC Joe wrote: Iraq had ties to Al Qaeda..... Its a fact. |

Absolutely true, Now they're hardened. Terrorists love two things. 1) Attention 2) Battle Bush is serving them up just the way they like it. Anyone who's written about terrorism and the mentality of it knows Bush is playing the game their way. RB |

They decided it was too costly and too many of them were dying in the fight against soldiers who fight back and kill them. Instead, being cowards at heart, these terrorists are now putting the major emphasis on butchering up civilian Iraqis. http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,104003,00.html There are many misconceptions among you pacifists and liberals. One of the worst of these is that terrorists are brave. If they were anything but cowards they would not have to be terrorists. S.Simon |

The very idea that terrorists are brave or cowards is crazy. They are insane. They won't ever stop, certainly not against the tiny forces we're presenting to them. US effort is a drop in the bucket and will fuel horrible attacks and more death, thanks to Bush. RB |
