Why the double standard here????

Why bother with poor little lost Ricky?

You shot him down in flames. He was hardly
worth the time and effort. He's just another
wannabe with more ego than knowledge.

I bet he's smarting being humiliated by a woman,
though. Serves him right . . .

Hardly, there is a big difference between confusing the names of who
was doing what , as I did, and not having a clue - what - they were
doing

LOL! I guess you didn't have enough earlier? You confused a lot more than
just the names! You said the Captain was flying the aircraft while the FO
was dealing with the trim. That's just for starters...

and why while claiming to know enough about the subject to
trash the guys who were there.

Nope. I came 4 letters from calling Oz's friend a hero, while IMHO, the
pilot could use a little constructive criticism, if he wasn't too arrogant
like you to except the help. This is a common problem in aircraft that kill
pilots every year.

It is typical of wannabe's and amateurs when they know the vocabulary
but not the craft. Like Nil, and now LP, his female counterpart. Such
a lovely couple.

This is a sure sign that you lost this argument. LOL!

I have a better idea. Katy, why not you go when LP goes.

Give the group a break. I chased LP away so why don't
you follow her lead.

Silly cow, come back when you've got a Metro type rating on your ATP
and then you can tell us all about how to trim and fly one.

Until then you are just a female version of Nil.

Eeeeeewwwwww, now that's a nasty vision.

Thanks for the invitation, Katy. I might just take you up on the "going
sailing" offer. That is unless Capt. Mooron comes up with a better offer.
;-)

It wouldn't be "ridicule" at all to be able to sail, to the contrary.

An old boyfriend from Chicago was in the aviation business. He owned a
sailboat, although I never got up that way to go sailing, because he used to
fly to either OKC or Tulsa to visit me.

Also my flight instructor's son, who broke a world flying record at age 16,
has a 35-40 ft sailboat on the land behind his Dad's place. The sailboat is
probably rotted by now...it hasn't been on the water in over 15 years, IIRC.

I didn't see any smiley face after that statement/question. :-)

A huge number of pilots sail, it's to do with an affinity with the
elements....

Hmm, you sound just like Capt. Mooron... g

and high disposable income :-)

Not everyone has a wife as rich as yours. eg

She's not rich, just gorgeous, charming, tempestuous and well paid.

Which of you earns the real money?

BTW, do you really think that "tempestuous" and "charming" go well together?

You'd have to meet her Donal.
She manages both admirably.

You wouldn't want me to meet her. She sounds *exactly* like my sort of
woman!
