I don't have the best, but I'm thrilled that you do...that's great! I'm not the jealous type and I'd love to hear about your boat and associated gear! Capt RB Aha! A bite from Bobsprit and a bait in return! You clearly don't recall that Flying Tadpole II, in keeping with the nature and design of the boat, carried no electronics or other toys whatsoever. Lady Kate carries only radio and occasionally a GPS. I won't count the mobile phone,a s there's no coverage over most of the Murray Lakes. If I were using Lady Kate in coastal waters I'd fit a dpethsounder and sumlog, but there's no point to either on my private and very shallow usually very silty bottomed waterways. Work out why. I also don't bother with windspeed instrumentation. Work out why. Note that i do not include required safety gear, lights, adequate ground tackle, charts, compasses etc. as boating toys. I enjoy the simplicity of sailing. I admit I have changed the line I use to lash the tiller, does that count? Also i think I'll have to replace the bugle with a compressed air horn, as I don't blow hard anywmore.
