From the J-Group again
ust a couple more points. The First series is Beneteau's race/cruise line with the efforts to try and build One Design fleets and popularity, especially around the 36.7 and 40.7. These efforts are not panning out as well as hoped. With out a doubt there will be and is more J109s racing and OD competitions than the 36.7. These are serious factors to consider. The reason of course is resell and while all J boats hold their value better than Beneteaus already, buying a OD that has fleet recognition increases the value significantly. Keep in mind that Beneteau continues to be plagued by build problems and QC complaints. Late models continue to develope serious problems with heavy resistance from Beneteau to correct them. I know this first hand. BWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA! Ya gotta love it! RB |
