Nice job with my credibility, buttmunch. Even I don't know if I
exist or not. Very existential. Let's see... I think, therefore I
am....You are what you eat....I'M SO CONFUSED!.

See? That'll teach you to stop me from taking your picture and posting it!
Nevermind....perhaps we stole that Freedom 36 for a nice daysail...
I'm still jealous of your below-decks autopilot!
Anyway...here's proof that your boat exists at least.,...

You are what you eat....I'M SO CONFUSED!.

BTW, have you taken your boat to Martha's Vineyard? I seem to remember that you
did. We are plannng that for next season. We plan to make a straight passage
with no landfall, then thread our way back.
Any suggestions?

Coming back, realize that the
prevailing is SW and unlesss you plan your stops carefully, you'll be
hard on what ever wind there is, all the way

Yup...I plan to adjust the boat for better pointing. My genoa can be lowered a
bit, thereby allowing for better shape via the genoa car position. With heavy
air I have a hell of a 90% jib, brand new that should get me way upwind,
Coming back from the thimbles, the air turned on us for a couple of hours,
forcing some pretty fruitless tacks before finally using the motor for a while.
Wasn't long, but Suzanne hates the diesel.

come on, he's never gone farther than the power cord can reach from the dock

You have some interesting tide and current conditions along your way.
Timing them to your advantage from City Island to Vineyard Haven is
difficult without layovers. You might want to consider a leg to Block
Island, another to Cuttyhunk and a passage thru Quicks Hole to
Vineyard Sound and on to Vineyard Haven. Coming back, realize that the
prevailing is SW and unlesss you plan your stops carefully, you'll be
hard on what ever wind there is, all the way.
