Robert, I have no idea what is up with Beneteau. While Hunter has been the
scapegoat for bad boat building over the years, Beneteau slipped by while being
even worse. Meanwhile Hunter's quality now appears to be better than Catalina.
We have 6 Beneteau's (various models) at our Miami docks and all are nice
looking, good sailing boats that is until you look close. Fit and finish is
awful, even compared to my little C&C 29 which I always felt was pretty basic.
I hope Beneteau at least raises the bar to the level of Catalina as I'd
consider one if they did. I've taken this off list. You never know where a
sensitive Beneteau owner may be lurking. BTW, love the "Alien girls" at you
website!
