Default The Angry Bob

Here is a list if morons who actually get worked up and ****ed off via this
group, yet come back to get slapped again and again!

Skitchy: Dispite his claims to own a IP 31, we've never seen it. Some time
ago
he asked me for help finding his friend a project boat, which I'm now sure
was
actually for him. Clearly this is a frustrated individual and boatless.

A good troll, but to set the record straight, my brother is now the proud owner
of a 1972 Morgan 28, which he will cruise singlehandedly next year first north
for the summer and then south to the Bahamas starting in the spring. A while
ago I asked Bob for help in locating a boat for him, but predictably Bob
suggested one of the boats he is selling at an asking price of about double its
worth. Thanks for the help, Boobs. Chris has crewed a lot for me, and soon
will have sailed his own boat much farther than Bob even pretends to sail.

It's a sailing boat, Donal. Enjoy it! Don't answer each and every

cristical
view on it. My latest boat is better

I thought that you still had Alien??

We're only weeks away from closing the deal on the 34XL. We won't actually

get
her, nor make closing payment until Dec. of next year. But, barring my

death,
she'll be ours!

So, you admit that your latest boat is *not* better?

Hmmm...more anger. Not that I expected anything new.

You can't get a new boat for the sort of money that you are willing to
spend.

But I can get one that will cost me nothing, yet still not be free?

Once again, you demonstrate that you cannot think "outside the box".

How sad! In other respects, you seem to be quite clever.

Setanta did not cost me a penny, and yet I paid for her. You think that you
are the cleverest person here. I think that you are too stupid to figure it
out. Moreover, I think that Mooron and Oz could both figure it out, if
they set their minds to it.

I know that you won't come up with the correct answer, because it will
expose you for the failure that you are.

Good choice. How is he outfitting it, what's the approx budget? What engine?
Inquiring minds want to know. I like the older Morgans, the 28 is a pretty good
sailing boat and with it's shoal draft, is an outstanding smallish cruiser for the
Southeast, Gulf, and Bahamas.

There seems to be a big price differential between the M28 and the M30, bigger than
the size or capability difference. I wonder if it's due to the boats looks. I
really like the M34 which is just a stretched 30, and seems to go for the same $$.
Might cost a bit more to keep.

And you expected different? Bubbles is nuts.

Dummy, I already explained how I paid for my boat, yet I own and sail her for
free. I'm doing the same with the 34XL.

My "current" boat, a C&C 32 is a better boat than any first series Beneteau.
It's better built by a siginificant margin and I've been aboard examples of
both. Your boat falls below Catalina in build quality.
The only thing you could do is to sell her and buy a better boat that "might"
be the equal of a C&C. C&C was one of the better production boat builders and
retains a strong reputation shared by few others. Tartan, Pearson, IP, Sabre,
J-Boat and a others are also in there. Beneteau, Catalina, Ranger, O'Day and
Hunter are elswhere on the graph. Not "bad"boats, but a C&C either.
And that's a fact.
