| Hmmm....you mean like the laser I spent a summer sailing? Or like a Flying
| Scott? How about an old Albacore??? Lots of fun! Sunfish? Yep...sailed
those as
| well when I was a kid. Lightening....well, kinda moving away from the
dinghy
| idea...but yep! Cape Dory Typhoon? Rhodes 19? Yep, yep....but again, they
had
| heavy bottoms!
|
| Sorry, Wally.

Amatuer.... I went from the breast to the bottle. That trauma alone was

I'm
thinking that a similar loop at the base of the mast might be a good =
idea.

Run a jackline...it's about the safest method there is and it keeps you =
centered...I have attached to the mast in the past on the spinnaker ring =
but there's not enough harness line to get up to the bow pulpit.

If you look at the original post, you'll see that I was trying to find out
if there was something I might be missing with regard to the purpose of
lifelines and how they're used.

This was Wally's best troll EVER!
4 stars!

He seems to have caught a big fat Bobfish.

I'm impressed - and also a little bit jealous!

What about for the beer?

I've got this really nifty beer sling! Fit's the bottle just perfect! I
think it's made from a Greek Fisherman's Cap!

One of those battery nav lights came with my boat, but one of the delivery

Hmmm we carry battery powered nav lights on the Etchells just in case
we get caught out after sundown.
I'd invest in one now, for safety sake.
