EAT MY WAKE, LOSERS!

And Bobby Sue still has no idea what hours nursy Suzzanne will be forced to
work
if she wants a job. Forget weekends and evenings. She'll be either working or
on
call at ALL times for at least the first 5 years of her career.

Tuesday Thursday and Fridays, plus one weekend per month. 33 hours per week.
Starting salary 69K. In exchange for 18 months of work, her last year of school
is payed for. Pretty typical deal here in NY, though she was slow to decide on
a specialty, so some classmates got better deals. She could have worked right
here, walking distance to Jamaica Hosp., but the salary was nearly 9K less. One
of her classmates will start at 77K. Not bad at all.
Billy Jane, it's nearly 2004. The nurse shortage is still terrible because
people like you feel a medical career is not rewarding enough. Many of the
graduates are of a very low caliber with no contact skills and weak language
skills. The terrible part is that many of the ethnic minorities in her class,
were unable to make the same type of deals, dispite having good grades.
Oh, and by the way, Suzanne will be a nurse practitioner 4 years from now.
As usual you know ZERO!!!

RB

Bobsprit October 22nd 03 12:08 AM

Now all Suzanne has to do is find a second adult to share it with.

Hmmmm....a threesome! Hope she's cute!

Suzanne will be working 60 hours at here 33 hour job most weeks, precisely DUE
to the nursing shortage.

Why? Her best friend is a nurse and rarely works OT. Nor do the nurses at the
hospital she's work at now (St. Francis), nor do the ones at the hospital she
interns at (LIM).
Like I said...ZERO!

You truly are an idiot!

Suzanne will be dumping you. It's almost guaranteed. Who needs a good for
nothing freeloader.

Freeloader? I pay for nearly everything. And I've paid for the new boat. I also
own a house. Do you? I own property in PA. Do you? I own three cars. Do you?

Does anyone actually think Billy Jane is a secure fellow? I could be making
this all up...and he'll still respond!

Bwahahahahahaha!

The reason for your unhapiness is clear. You are unhappy because you

sail
on an old, cheap "stepping stone".

A perfect example by Donal. He thinks this way because he is this way.

What was my mistake? Did you not manage to buy the boat very *cheaply*
from a sick old man? Are you not looking forward to your next boat?

Even the idea of using words like "cheap" on any luxury item like a boat,

it's
pretty sad. At his age it's too late to change I guess.
I hope everyone is as happy with thier vessels as I am.

If you are so "happy" with your vessel, then why are you looking forward to
your next boat?

you are.

RB,

I wasn't aware you were already deep into negotiations. I hope thing go
your way'

Question; Are you going to be happy with that mast, double spreaders,
jack stays and all that goes with it? If you are, boy, you are into some
damn fine sailing and it will match the sound to a "TEE". Especially
Eastern Long Island Sound.
I suggest you start getting information from the "Nav" I've tried to
avoid those rigs but you and Susy should be up to it.

Two years, that will make that boat about ready for a re-fit. I suggest
you start researching the new type preformed racing sails while you're
waiting. Also, some crew time racing on a mast head rig with a flexible
mast wouldn't hurt. Not necessary but wouldn't hurt.

Aren't those sliding sheet car a kick in the ass? Along with an
adjustable barber haul and that whippy mast your sailing will be like
dancing a "Tango" Ah!!! youth, I'll try to live a little of it with you
(If you don't mind)

Thom, it looks like I have a deal on the boat. All BS aside, we must wait for
Suzanne to finish school.
Yes, the rig is a handful, but Suzanne and I are young, and the extra work is
good for us. I expect one day I'll want a Catboat with it's single control
line, but now I want to play, trim and play some more. I don't race, but I love
a boat that will point like the devil. A boat like this will also maximize our
short trips by getting us their faster.
I'm not sure Suzanne feels the same way about the rig, but the vastly improved
comfort of the boat won her over.
I seriously doubt the boat will need a refit or much of anything. Almost
everything was new less than two years ago and she was sailed less than 10
times for races since then. She's never been cruised and mostly daysailed.
After next summer, she won't sail again until we take her.
