| Favorite knife....Puma XT series from the mid 1960's.

Oh Yeah... The Puma was a favourite with the women and kids up north but it
couldn't keep an edge.

It was my fathers and the
| handle is from Walrus tusk, one of a kind.

$40 bucks a tusk from Igloolik... how many do you want?

Cost 100 bucks back then, which was
| a months rent for a lot of New Yorkers.

Bwahahahahahahaaa

It's balanced for throwing as well,
| which I'm pretty good at after 20 years of practice.

Did you ever get it to do anything but bounce off the target?

Funny you should mention it but I'm very good at axe throwing....

Doubles are a breeze due to the inherent balance.... you know you're good
when you can regularly plant a single into a pie plate target at 20 meters.
Hatchets are the real mark of competence though. I have a real nicely
balanced hatchet.

Doesn't really make any difference, double or single. If you think about
it, it's alway the same blade (the one facing forward at the release) that
plants.

I've got a Polish roofing hatchet that throws really well, makes
one wonder about the people in Poland that roof for a living?

Cheers

Hold a single at the balance point and it will always roll blade down while
a double will lay flat. That's why they throw doubles in competition

I've got a roofing hatchet from Lee Valley Tools..... is it the same kind?
I doubt anyone worries much about the hatchet with a Polish roofer.... it's
the bill that will kill ya! ;-)

I prefer a gun. My Colt .357 will hit a pie plate at 50 meters, or a
running felon at 50 meters. For longer range, I use a rifle.

Hero@Horvath

I don't spend my money on food. I spend most of my money
on women, porn, booze, and recreation. The rest of it I just waste.

PUSSY!.... at 50 meters I'd use my axe to shave you in one toss and pop a
cap in yo ass at 200 meters with my Dan Wesson .445 Supermag. Rifles are
for 200 meters and up.

Don't call him a pussy. That's rude. Besides, he might actually
schedule the operation and then I'd have to call him Whoreass.
