Have you all seen what the underbody of a truly fast little
cruising yacht looks like? Here's your chance if you've not had a chance to. http://www.homestead.com/captneal/haulout.html S.Simon - a secret admirer of Capt. Neal |

Seems like it's not a very efficient shape... but at least it's
smooth. "Simple Simon" wrote in message ... Have you all seen what the underbody of a truly fast little cruising yacht looks like? Here's your chance if you've not had a chance to. http://www.homestead.com/captneal/haulout.html S.Simon - a secret admirer of Capt. Neal |

Just as the saying "Only a mother could love such an ugly baby", only an
owner could love such an ugly boat. Did your wife choose that boat for you, did you buy the first boat you saw, or was it all you could afford? |

When it comes to a sailboat beauty is more of a function of
how she sails than what she looks like. A vessel with very attractive lines and traditional teak on white can begin to look like a real dog if she sails like one. I can easily afford any sailboat in 100K range but since my present yacht satisfies me in most every way what would be the purpose of selling her and buying something not so tried and true. Besides, small is beginning to make more and more sense these days with the prices of everything going up so fast. It is a pleasure to be able to enjoy the same anchorages, the same comfort, the similar speed, and colder beer than at a fraction of the cost of those big boats I see who are having a real hard time sailing their vessels let alone affording them. Talk about fags . . .
At least I don't publish homoerotic or onanistic fantasies on this forum like you just did. Bwahahahahahahah! S.Simon wrote in message ... If you are not Capt. Neal, that makes you a fag. If you are him, you are a jerkoff. |

If I'm right in thinking that you antifouled using Micron Extra, I'd be very interested to hear how fouled or not the bottom is. -- Wally www.makearatherlonglinkthattakesyounowhere.com Things are always clearer in the cold, post-upload light. |

One can see the thickness of the keel which is necessary for proper lift in
a shoal keel. The above quote from the photo caption is really funny. I'll bet that thing really goes to windward with that fat balloon keel. That thing might give the propper ballast for it's size but trust me it offers no lift. S/V Express 30 "Ringmaster" Trains are a winter sport |
