You pay by slip capacity rather then boat length? You're getting
hosed. I pay the same price unless I exceed 40 feet. I pay 1K less than any non-slip owner here, because Anthony gives me the slip at cost. The only other fee I pay is 150 for electric/water. The cost? 2450 per season. The cost of a slip through the club? 3350 + 250 for services. Getting the 36 will only cost us $140 more for land storage. If tomorrow goes well and we come to an agreement we'll be sailing for free again anyway. RB |

At cost? Are you talking about the cost of maintaining
the dock? What at-cost are you talking about? Seems expensive in any case. We pay about $1600 for the entire year for a 30 foot slip. I believe that a 40 foot slip is about $50 more per month. And, this is in Sausalito, which is about the best possible place to have a boat. "Bobsprit" wrote in message ... You pay by slip capacity rather then boat length? You're getting hosed. Besides being beautiful, it has almost instant access to the
North Bay and the Golden Gate. And to think it used to be a run-down fishing village..... "SAIL LOCO" wrote in message ... And, this is in Sausalito, which is about the best possible place to have a boat. I was there once. What a great place. S/V Express 30 "Ringmaster" Trains are a winter sport |

Not the GG. If you haven't seen it, you can't appreciate it.

Jon,
I was there (Sausalito) when it was a Hippie Haven. More derelict boat population than I've ever seen. It was colorful! Ole Thom |
