Johnny Bench! He was betting on a sure thing most of the
time and doing real well. Baseball couldn't allow that to
proliferate or the odds would have gone all to hell.

The play-offs are all about money. You can't make a
lot of money with series being swept so you will notice
most, if not all, play-off series go the distance. Only
an idiot could conclude that these series are NOT being
fixed. Bobsprit is right yet again!
