Pearl Harbour was it before America had a victory against the Japanese?

The British had the Merlin Engine during that time. They had radar
during that time also (used very successfully in the DEFENSE of Britain)
As I said I'm still waiting to hear about a battle that was started by
the British against Germany that gained back any territory from the Axis
powers before Dec, 7th, 1941.

Why? Britian wasn't ready to start an offensive war. Britian had
de-militarised during the thirties, and started the war with antiquated, and
poorly maintained equipment.

The current Yank approach is anything but Smart. Bush is bombing the wrong
targets, for the wrong reasons. He is creating more terrorism.

Afghanistan is a mess, once again a major exporter of heroin, and women are
not really any better off than they were under the Taliban.


Iraq is a mess, and Bush is now begging for international help.
