i'm a land-locked novice with an old lido 14 on my hands. i'm slowly
getting it into shape. i bought the owner's manual but find that its mimeo-quality black-and-white figures are not real helpful. my current project is the centerboard...specifically, trying to figure out what keeps it in the 'up' and 'down' positions. i purchased something called the c/b brace + hardware; what i got for $75 was a couple of 1x1x12 pieces of teak and a couple of ss brackets and no instructions for where to install them. whatever, these don't look like what i'm needing. is what i need the centerboard hanger, complete? or maybe the centerboard hanger strap? is there a good quality illustration of the lido 14 and its rigging other than the schock owner's manual? thanks! |
