I believe the Flying Monkeys episode (or was it a saga?) occurred while I was traveling -
Spring '00 through Summer '01. I never did figure out what it was about.

I was around before that, though rather preoccupied. Frankly, I miss Jax a bit. His
brand of stupidity had so much more depth than Horvath's.

I don't think so. Those were the days of the cedar bucket, of Tadpole running amock, and
Gilly and MC sparring over air rights for the monkeys (even though MC still doesn't
understand the relationship of the monkeys to the upside-down part of the world). Those
were the days when Neal was even more obnoxious than he is now (hard to believe, isn't it
folks? Do a Google search of this group 3 years ago). Those were the days when we prayed
Larry Flynt would just shut up and mow his last lawn or take a cruise on a sinking ship.
Bobsprit was still a newbie and hadn't wound his top yet. Jax was a self-righteous,
supercillious word I don't say that starts with a *p*. Yep, those were the good old days.
