Why don't you send him a smoke signal (Canadian wireless) asking if he's =
OK?

I went past his house today...it's in one piece...Not sure of Overproof as
it was not on his mooring..... but Mooron is an old salt he would protect
his boat....

His power is still off........ as my mother in law who lives in Bayside just
told me.....

I can assure everybody not to worry about Mooron and his
beloved boat. It wouldn't surprise me if the old salt went to
sea to evade and remembered how much he loved sailing and
is on his way to Bermuda.

I hope his mooring held......
I used 1/2 chain on my mooring.....with 5 extra feet of chain...as I was too
lazy to cut it......but it saved me in the surge.....

I noticed a lot of mooring's broke here as they used line......
Some boats on the shore...... still had balls attached to their cleats....

Many boats where wasted...as the docks they were tied too broke
free....carrying the boats away.....

All in all lots of people were not prepared at all....

That storm seems to have gotten little publicity and
it must have been going forward at a good clip to
take so many people unaware. I can't even recall
its name or did it not have a name?

Is it that uncommon to have a 'cane strike at those
high latitudes? Do people up there have NOAA weather
channels on their VHF radios or is that only in the US?

They do, but it's in English and the Canooks can't understand.

My God but you're rather thick aren't you?

Cheers

BTW, the question is rhetorical, save your keyboard
