Better yet Donal.... maybe he can explain why the USA is begging for help

idiotic fiasco. Seems like failing to achieve objectives is the hallmark of
this presidency.

Didn't all this start off to stop terrorism? Osama Bin Missin'??

Now I understand why you post from Canada. You're
undoubtedly one of those long-haired, maggot-infested,
low-life, scum-sucking, commie pinko war protesters
who tucked tail and crawled on your belly up to Canada
to avoid the draft back in the sixties.

It's much easier to punch out teenagers at the local mall
than fight real enemies who actually shoot at you and toss
grenades.

Nope.... immigrated from the Congo. I was 5 at the time. Seems to me it's
Canadian Troops relieving your boys in Afghanistan. Another friggin screw
up... with the USA managing to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory once
more.

I've shot people who shot at me. I haven't killed anyone yet though. I've no
doubt after seeing your boys in action that if you provided me with the same
equipment... I fair much better with fewer friendly fire incidences. I'm
surprisingly fast in the bush and exceptionally cool under fire.

Pure spin. He didnt insult them but he did dismiss them (If they didnt
want to join, they didnt want to join). There is no "begging for help"
going on. While it may make you feel good to say that, it is far from
the case. Bush is simply going to the UN to satisfy the non-stop
criticism from the left...knowing that they will not agree on
anything. This is exactly what he's done before. It's amazing how
short people's memories are.

Last September, Bush used the threat of the UN being irrelevent as a
means to get 1441 passed. It worked. While the threat of irrelevancy
is still there, the rhetoric is now being moved to "Who is part of the
civilized world? France, Germany and the UN are you going to side with
the barbarians?" To call these people uncivilized is the ultimate
insult to their way overblown egos.

Thus, the reason for going to the UN is to either expose France and
Germany for who they really are -- allies of the barbarians -- or
force them to comply with the "civilized world". Anyone who thinks we
are going to the UN because we are "failing miserably" in Iraq is
sadly mistaken. Instead, we are forcing France, Germany and the UN in
general to play their hand. Bush is either going to get his resolution
or the UN's inability to be part of the civilized world will render it
irrelevant. My bet is that Bush will get his resolution just like last
fall and then some -- perhaps some much needed institutional reform at
the UN.

This is strategy of the highest order folks. Sun Tzu couldn't have
done it better himself.

John,

Very good to excellent reply. You definitely put
Donal and his misguided and pathetic ideology
to rest with it.

It is really sad that, due to the efforts of brave
men who are willing to fight and die for freedom
against terrorists who would usurp everyone's
freedom, cowards like Donal and his ilk are able
to hop on the bus for a free ride yet they complain
loudly and long about these benefits. They would
rather continue to be giant hypocrites and continue
to spout their ignorant lies. Like terrorists homicide
bombers they spend their time trying to destroy the
bus. They are scum!
