Engines going out

There's an extra inner pylon mount on the port wing for ferrying engines. I did, as a matter of fact! Bertie Prove it. :) So, I now I wonder why just the port wing? If you are going to have an extra pylon on one wing, why not both? A good 5th pod crew can hang (or remove) an engine in just a little more time than the regular ground crew loads cargo from the right. No need for anybody getting in somebodies way. No electrics. No plumbing. Only necessary to swap out a specially calibrated mach-warn switch. (Yea, Tarver, that's the lower right pitot probe. :-)) JK |
