J/24's usually carry a four-man crew when racing.

They do?

Bwahahahahaha!

Are you gonna get an exemption to allow only a two-man
crew so the boat isn't handicapped with 300 pounds too
much weight?

Let's see...I weigh 213, Suzzy weighs 125-130, maggie weighs 120, Julia weighs
110...
I think we're all set!

Bwahahahahaha!

RB,

I'm sure you screwed yourself once again.
A J24 racing in class with full crew (or without) isn't going to be
using a furler. Bob, A flying sail change cannot be made with a furler
and Class Racers do have to be able to change out head sail as
conditions warrant.

They do use twin head tracks but a furler has the upper assembly that
prohibits the changing a sail while the other sail is up.

Changing head sails in class racing doesn't make since to be bald headed
for a head sail change.

You're going to have to modify your statement about a racing J24.

Sorry, Nutsy. You had your mouth going without the brain in gear.

Yeah Neal,

My age is showing. Last night was "Party Nite" at the Club, Award Nite
for the Pitch Ragatta. Today is Get Away day for visiting sailors.

I had my 2 Manhattens. brought a round for my Crew and came home even
before the party got a glow on. I did leave my crew there ( Female) but
I came home.

My daughter left early also. She is Hot Air Balloning today. They have a
perfect day for it!

Uh, Thom. I think you misread something. I'm not racing on the J-24, nor have I
EVER seen one with a RF installed.

Sounds like you've got it made. Even left the girls and
went home for some peace and quiet without any nagging.

You go old boy! How old is your daughter? Is she pretty?
Is she married? Can she cook? Can she hold her liquor?

P.S. found some even better prices for sails that have
better features for less money. See my post elsewhere.

Nutsy,

Your post @ 9/1/03 said the J24 I'm sailing Thursday prodably has RF. If
you've never seen one installed then why in the hell would you make a
statement like that?

So now, is this the time for the stupid modifying troll replies? If it
is, don't bother on my account, I won't be reading your replies for
awhile.
AND; "I'LL DRINK TO THAT!"
