Default Thimbles trip

I'd guess that
they must have been about 3 miles out?? So, they must have headed in to

the
shore, then dropped the anchor and then sailed back out into deep water.
This would have added at least 2 hours onto the trip!

Does that 2 hours include time for actually eating, Donal? Do you suppose

we
sailed an hour out of the way to drop anchor?
Are you sure I said we in the middle of the sound on the outward leg?

Hoooh ahhh!

As I said, there is only one thing that I can be sure of - You didn't
skipper any boat to the Thimbles last weekend!

How long did you stop at anchor for? What effect do you think that the
stop had on your arrival time? Why would you stop to eat when you are not
going to arrive at your destination until after midnight?

Who took the decision to stop?

Regards

Donal
