I'd guess that
they must have been about 3 miles out?? So, they must have headed in to the
shore, then dropped the anchor and then sailed back out into deep water.
This would have added at least 2 hours onto the trip!

Does that 2 hours include time for actually eating, Donal? Do you suppose we
sailed an hour out of the way to drop anchor?
Are you sure I said we in the middle of the sound on the outward leg?
