What should you enter in your log?
What you enter in your log..... is far different than what you enter in
your pre-departure checklist... which is what you bozos have reduced this to. Log: Departure Time Tide Weather [Temp/Barometer/ Visual] Course Mag Course true Variation Chart Number Engine Hours [Deviation tables on inside cover] Course changes + times Fixes [methods utilized including references] Drift and Set Log data - [average speed] Notes regarding uncharted obstructions, general conditions, watch changes, helm changes, sail set and trim, etc. Hope that clears things up for everyone!
