A few hundred cubic miles of water in the form of stony-ice asteroids would be
needed to terra form mars, but it is about as possible as terra forming Venus, which also need many hundreds of cubic miles of water to form calcium carbonates in order to scavenge all the excess CO2 that is responsible for a surface temperature above the melting point of lead.
