I agree, Mars can be terraformed while Venus is hopeless.

Katy is the one who is stupid saying Venus is hot because of
volcanism. Bwahahahhahahahahahahh!. Hey Katyduncesails,
sure you ain't a blonde? Let me check those pubes sometime
please. Venus is hot because of the run away greenhouse
effect combined with the fact the planet is close enough to
the sun to make it too hot for human habitation even if there
were not a run away greenhouse effect.

Stick to cooking and sewing, Kooky one, because you're
clearly too uninformed to discuss intellectual and scientific
matters.

You're stupid! Do you know what the surface temperature on
Venus is? It's hot enough to melt lead - almost 500 degrees C.
It would take a million years to cool the planet down enough
to make it liveable even if something could be done with the
atmosphere.

Terraforming is out of the question unless we had the technology
to move the planet out of orbit to the area of the asteroid belt
to let it cool down for several thousand years.

Not sure about that or else.

Venus could be terraformed and an atmosphere could be created from the one she already has. Albeit, we don't have the

technology to pull it off yet. But we will. Much better than living in plasto-enviro units on Mars where even if there is
water under the surface, it would not be sufficient to create a breathable atmosphere.

Venus is Hot because . . .

Wrong, sweetie! Venus is hot not because of volcanoes but
because it's closer to the sun and has suffered runaway
greenhouse effect.

http://starryskies.com/solar_system/..._venus_hot.htm
says:

"Spacecraft that have reached the surface have found temperatures
of 470C (878F). These harsh conditions are mostly due to Venus
being 30% closer to the Sun. Venus receives twice as much solar
heating however. This apparently never allowed water to condense
and therefore to form oceans. Without oceans there was no effective
way to absorb carbon dioxide."

Give it up Katy. You're cute as hell but a dummy when it comes
to scientific stuff.

Venus could be terraformed and an atmosphere could be created from the

one she already has. Albeit, we don't have the technology to pull it off
