Don't be so defensive Bob... 75 miles in a 12 hour time frame is a real
push. You seem to be routing like a power boater. Average speed over distance as opposed to the total distance over ground due to wind and tacks. A 75 mile distance can easily add up to 100 miles distance sailed. Consider that 120 miles in a 24 hour period is considered good time when ocean sailing. Considering your "day" is 12 hours [ sunrise to sunset avg.]... There is no way you can make it in "well under a day". You'd make it in a day if you started very early and dropped hook very late. Where's the mpeg of a well tuned boat on a reach with a free helm Bob????
