What a Car!!!
Drove the new Subaru WRX STI last night. All I can say is...WOW!!! And for that
price?!!! Amazing. Quite a bit faster than my friend's regular WRX Turbo, especially in the 60-130MPH range. 0-60 under 5 sec and easy to do. Stage II upgrade has it beating a new Vette....and all for under 33K. Even in stock trim it's faster than most 100K sports cars. Lord, American cars really can't do anything...except rattle and gasp. You know nothing about cars either. The current quickest and fastest production automobile in the world is the Saleen S7. Designed and built in the USA. If you think that little dorkey subcompact Subaru with a 4 cyl turbo won't rattle in a year your pretty dumb. Anybody can put 300hp in a subcompact cheapo and get quick times. The STI has been around for more than a year along with the WRX and build is better than most American cars. 0-60 in a stock STI is 4.8 sec. You'd better read up on it before you make a bigger fool of yourself! RB |
What a Car!!!
Oooh wow, a subaru. Moving up from the Hyundai?
Yeah, a car that is also built better than Ford, GM and so on and has a warranty to prove it. Of course even the cheap little Accent for 8K will outlast most American cars anyway. RB |
What a Car!!!
You said American cars
can't do anything and once again I prooved you wrong and once again your comback is not relevant. You proved me wrong with what? There are a few American sports cars, with poor build quality, while Nissan, BMW, Mercedes, Mitsubishi, Audi, Mazda, Acura and just about every other car company crushes the American lines with ease. Vette's and Mustangs crushed by a Subaru! And the Subaru is OBVIOUSLY built better! Bwahahahahaha! RB |
What a Car!!!
My Saturn Vue is a bit slower but my bike can do 0-60 in 4.3 seconds. Would
probably be faster, but that's as fast as I can hit 5 gears (Ok, I might have skipped 2nd). Top speed about 135. I was too busy praying at 110 mph to further check the speedometer. I posted the fact that the current quickest and fastestproduction car in the world is the Saleen S7 which is built in the USA. And to say the little 100" wheelbase dorkey Subaru is "obviously" built better is contrary to the reviews that I read which just stated the thing was a lot of bang for the buck. They had nothing to say about "build quality" I wouldn't pay $30k for a 100" wheelbase compact car myself but you go right ahead. You know nothing about cars. Yup. And no american car doesn't rattle and gasp.
Look Boobass your trying to look hip with the trash talk that was popular back in the late 70s. Things have changed. Latest reviews on the 2003 Lincoln LS state that it beats the 540i in the handeling dept and my 2002 with 50k miles doesn't rattle. To top it off I'm sure you haven't ridden in the Saleen S7 so you can't comment on that one either. Buy the Subaru ... it fits you perfectly. S/V Express 30 "Ringmaster" Trains are a winter sport |

I suggest you check to see how Subaru compares for build quality and longevity against American cars. Subaru rates WAY better than your car, nearly on par Acura and better than Toyota as of last year. Why can't American cars do the same? RB |

I would like to see them. I do not believe the Bugatti is
in production as of yet. First problem with your comback. In production. Top speed is 256. Sorry!!! Bwahahahaha! RB |

Your living in the past. Really? Which American car can touch the WRX (ANY version) anywhere near the price. And don't forget the AWD. While you're looking that up, try finding a US car that can deal with Nissan's Z for performance and finish! RB |

same here (6 cyl). I tried to get it stuck in the snow and couldn't. We had
some significant snow here this past winter (20+ inches). We put 600 miiles / week on it, so the 22.5 mpg. isn't too bad either.. Scout "Capt. Mooron" wrote I love that Saturn Vue. I got the 6 cyl. Great handling and a good turn of acceleration as well. |

You brought it up to change the subject. All it is is a little hot rod for little kids. A 4 banger putting out 300hp won't last long. Fit and finish ... you've got to be joking. As far as I'm concerned a Lincoln Town car is a better value for the same money as that little POS with an overstressed 4 cyl. S/V Express 30 "Ringmaster" Trains are a winter sport |

Let me help you, he means your high volume production cards are crap.
Of course. Anyone can make an ultra expensive car that performs! Cars like the Lincoln are examples of why the Japanese/German builders continue to smack us around. A near 40K Lincoln LS Ultimate should not fall prey to a 22K Subaru in every area. The Subaru even lasts longer and it's a damn 4! RB |
What a Car!!!

Sorry!!! You should be sorry. I told your stupid ass that's the factory guess. No one has tested the car yet. The final pre production car weighed more than the estimate. They haven't sold one yet as far as I know. SORRY! S/V Express 30 "Ringmaster" Trains are a winter sport |

A near 40K Lincoln LS Ultimate should not fall prey to a 22K Subaru in every
area. The Subaru even lasts longer and it's a damn 4! What a dumb ass. Those 2 cars are not even in the same class. Sure the toy Subaru which weighs nothing and has 300hp will out accelerate the LS but who cares. The 2 cars are intended for different people. Hell you can buy a cheap Firebird that can run with the Subaru. S/V Express 30 "Ringmaster" Trains are a winter sport |

LOL........... I told you you were living in the past. The F40 hasn't been made for years. The F50s 0-60 time is 3.6 and it's top speed hasn't been proven and the McLaren will do 231 but looses to the Saleen S7 from 0-60 by a tenth. S/V Express 30 "Ringmaster" Trains are a winter sport |

Hell you can buy a cheap
Firebird that can run with the Subaru. Yeah? Cut the HP of the WRX by 50 and the Firebird still loses because it can't handle worth a damn. The WRX goes through the Slalom faster than a new Vette and the Vette is no slouch...just cheaply made. RB |

I think they did that last week, actually. If it was I suppose they wouldn't be bragging about their AMC Pacer's so much. Besides, what is faster? A McLaren doing 65MPH or a Bugatti doing 65MPH? 55MPH in Ohio of course. Of course! Ask anybody over 18 which one they would rather own. The LS won't beat a 55
Chevy street rod either. It's not the point and you know it or ugh do you. I'll take a loaded STI over the Lincoln ANYDAY. If I'm going to drive long distance, I'll take an Audi A6, another car built better than the lincoln. AWD cars rule. RB |
