The borders in Europe have moved around a lot it it true. It was interesting though, when a few years ago a friend of mine had to travel to Wurtzberg and the only map of Germany I had was in an 1890 atlas. All of the cities and towns are still in the same places. Yes in Europe we do not move our citys and towns anymore. We used to but gave it up when the labour unions grew too strong.
