Is there anyway to stop all those header postings coming into the group?

In Outlook Express select obnoxious message and then
drop down the message menu. Select 'block sender' and
follow the prompts.

End of problem.

It's only a pain if you are too ignorant to figure it out.

It's always easier for some people to complain than
to learn. Duh!

I don't see the problem and I don't see Bertie or any
of his iterations anymore.

If you use Outlook Express, highlight one of Bertie's
messages, drop down the message menu, select
"block sender" and go from there.

You can't stop them from posting to the newsgroup, but you
can filter them so you don't see them. You can also complain
to their posting agent. Some places that have decent policies
in place bar more than 4 or 5 cross-posts at once.

He's gone too and some of his posts were forgeries but
most were not so he's gone for a while till this all blows over.

I might let him back in but not unless he starts posting something
worthwhile again which he hasn't now for half a year. He used
to provide some good threads but lately he has degenerated into
just another loser.

I don't see the problem either, except when one of the
less bright bulbs here starts responding to one of the
fag boys.

Huh? Explain this, Gerard...is this what you're getting from my posts?

You said, "cut and paste, folks...cut and paste....only reply to the exact
thing
you want to reply to and forget all the rest of the
stuff" -- so I did.

If you'd read an entire thread, you'd know by now that it was not my OR at
fault....some people just can't stand not butting into other's business
without being asked....buttinski....
