yeah, must be at my end. I get a sentence , then one word in the next line,
then a sentence , then one word.

Maybe cause I made the text larger (eyes starting to go).

Sorry....

You might want to set your word wrap.

I am set...at 72...why? Are you fetting weird stuff? I am set to html

and not plain text ( don't want to miss the occasional
"colorful" post....)

Actually, that's happening a bit further down the old nervous system,
Scotty.

Hey thanks Scotty,
Same offer to you if you want to sail LBI, just give a yell. I almost
missed this post thanks to all the crap that is being dumped here by el
berto. That would be great! Let me know too if you are going to the boat
show in Annapolis, I'd enjoy meeting you and anyone else from asa.
I haven't sailed anything bigger yet. Had tours of my neighbors (bigger)
boats, but they mostly sit at the dock for some reason. And I don't mean
that as an offense. I think they plan longer but fewer trips.

Have you sailed bigger boats?
If you want to go for a sail in the Balt. area, just say the word.

Perhaps we should add an OT (on topic) to our headers.

Yep. It's just another excuse.

It isn't really "more work" to take a bigger boat out, but it is higher stakes.
And it can be "more work" (depending on the rig & gear) to get a bigger boat's
sails set once underway. But I figure WTF is the reason for having the boat in
the first place? Impressing one's marina neighbors?

Our boat takes me about ten minutes to get underway, although I once saved time
by forgetting to unplug the shore power (doh!!).

The reason I don't daysail much is the 2 hour car trip to get to the boat.

Yeah, the drive sucks. We end up duking it out with morons going to/returning
from the beach. Half of them seem to be either drunk or yakking on the phone,
or both.

It appears that way with some. Some seem to sail only to try to impress a
NG.

Scout,

Remember what you said about the larger boat when you buy. It seems
sailing is inversely proportional to the size of the boat. DON"T OVER
BOAT YOURSELF.

And this is for the Bunyip that looks like a turd with two pieces of
undigested corn for eyes. Who acts like a **** and only sails when you
flush the toilet.

That sounds like a good idea with Scotty. He has a good size all around
boat.

Tsk tsk....having a moment, there, Neal? Did you stamp your foot and stick
out your tongue at the same time? We're all aware that you're there...no
need for the little display to get our attention...maybe it's time for a
nappy?
