Some welcome clarity added to the descriptions of both events. And the
Gimli article adds an interesting point on the old Airbus vs. Boeing
(fly-by-wire vs. mechanical) debate. I didn't realize that a pilot can't
sideslip an Airbus.

Actually, they can, just not the FBW busses.
