| Over my ~40 years FD/CFR/ARFF experience, I have encountered more than a
few
| that considered me "Not Cognizant" of my proper place, when dealing with
| such esteemed personages as themselves. These personages generally have
| fallen into 3 groups; Lawyers, Politicians, & Lawyers turned politicians.
It
| has been my experience/learned most who populate these groups, or have
| similar attitudes could best be described as "Fair Weather Sailors".

Well .... in my 47 years experience.... I have found people learn their
place as soon as I point it out to them. You are over-speaking yourself.....
it's amounts to an admission that your fraternize with liars and thieves.

|
| Is it not wise to keep your "scuppers clean/clear of obstruction" &
| "minimize the amount of material in/keep your bilge clean"? At 6'8', 280
| pounds I doubt I would fit in your "scuppers". Considering my size, I
would
| more than likely create "Trim Problems" if carried in your "Bilge".

Keep scrubbing and shut the hell up... I'll worry about the boat. You don't
weigh nearly as much as a pallet of beer and rest assured that qualifies you
as expendable.

|
| By the way in my younger US Navy days, I did fight several fires resulting
| from not cleaning/clearing "Bilges", to say nothing of retrieving several
| "Fair Weather Sailors" & their boats.

Yes... well goody for you.

"47 years experience", at with what?

It is my understanding a "Good Sailor" is able to read the waters, therby
avoiding trouble. If you exchange "Have to deal with as part of the Job",
instead of "Fraternize" in your response you will have a correct reading of
the situation.

Are you sure you want to admit to the "Sailing Community" you have failed to
take care of your vessel to the extent, it has become a "Hazard" requireing
action by "Public Servants, to asure the Safety/Health/Well Being of the
