Default Don't Sail with Per!

AHAHAHHHHHHHHHAHAHAH

Its a hunter and we have a washing machine

NH_/)_

Of course we sail. Do you have a boat yet? I can post via my laptop from

the
boat.... if I wanted to..... but the last few sailing parties resulted in
wine stains and timbits embedded into the carpet. I've decided since it's
been raining since last night steady... it would be a great time to do
laundry. The cockpit cushion covers are on spin cycle and the carpet is
hanging on the line getting wet.

So instead of your pathetic attempts at humour at the expense of others...
why don't you entertain me with a sailing story while I sip my overproof

rum
and coffee and keep tabs on the newsgroups?

Since when does sailing impede you from sharing stories or experiences.
Since when has sailing become a pastime of the socially challenged? Why
haven't you taken the reins and contributed to any discussion rather than
lament the lack of topic interest? You have no right to complain if you

are
lurking. You'll take what I give you... and damn it ... you'll like it!

Now... what type of "underwear" are you wearing right now? Tell us all

about
it.... don't be shy. I know you want to.....

| Underwear are boxers and briefs and other assorted venue of trouser
towels
| worn by the incontinent, hygienically challenged masses.
|
| Long Johns are not underwear..... they are only referred to in that
manner
| by the ignorant and unwashed that have no clue of seasonal dress codes
or
| requirements. Liberals, Yuppies and Homosexuals generally refer to

Long
| Johns as Underwear.
|
| When in season they are washed as often as you wash your clothes and a
| complete set consists of 6 pairs.
|
| When it's really cold I wear my silk long johns under my regular long
| johns.... it would be embarrassing to tell you how good that feels at

50
| below.
|
|
| Doesn't get that cold at sea (-30 or so) but I know what you're
| saying...
|
| Mooron's right & Nav's wrong. Long johns aren't underwear. Std dress
| indoors on Antarctic bases is thermals with maybe a pair of Hawaiian
| shorts over the top. Ditto on ship. We have outdoor BBQ's at -15C
| dressed in this fashion.
|
| Mooron, ya gotta remember that Nav's a Kiwi. They can't *afford*
| underwear let alone good thermals. This is just envy manifesting
| itself.

| | So according to your local lore Long Johns are not underwear? One
starts
| | to wonder what you think underwear is...
| |
| | Try a google on "long John underwear" to see the mistake in your
| | beliefs. Now how often do you wash your long johns?
