Default Tartan vs. Sabre

Would you prefer a Sabre 362 or Tartan 3800 if both were of even vintage and
condition?

Default Tartan vs. Sabre

I guess it comes down to lines and design. Both have good names... both are useless fin keelers with foam cored decks.... both look really cool on their brochures. Here's the sailcalc read out... I like the Sabre's capsize ratio, motion comfort and heavier class in the LWL/Displacement Ratio.

I like both the vessels so it's a hard choice.... I just liked the Sabre a bit better. Heh... you asked.

I'll beat you to it....

-- why?

It's the better oat, even though both are quality boats...just like Sabres a lot better than Tartans....they look better on
top...better basements....
