Either rifle will print about the same at a hundred yards. It depends on the
rifle and the condition. The Australian FN, I had was in good shape and
exhibited very little barrel wear. The HK is a well engineered rifle. I'm at
a loss to remember the exact model but the photo of yours looked very much
like the one I had. [Circa 1987]

Neither are banned here but both are restricted weapons. I have authority to
possess and purchase restricted weapons.

For accuracy I prefer the 6.5x 55 Swedish Mauser or a .383 Magnum. I must
add though that I had a 45/70 with a rolling block and hex barrel that would
print exceedingly well even with it's rainbow trajectory.

| The FN is nice too but I don't think it's as accurate as the HK.

As a comparison.... a snapshot of my early 30's would show I had spent
several years in the high Arctic, 2 years in the South Pacific, traveling,
sailing and working and a year traveling the interior of South America....
never mind the half dozen Caribbean countries... yet I never considered
myself an "expert" on travel or felt the need to record my "adventures" to a

I doubt you have any idea what inner peace is due to your constant battle

nightmares about clowns.... is "jasson" a clown? ;-D

Are you absorbed in this too?

Hardly. Like I said, I'm a fresh-faced newbie.

Doesn't anyone have a life?

You tell me, O Wise One.

There is no more topic. I said you can expect certain things in certain
areas and the liberals choked on their tongues to say how dumb I am for
saying it.

"The liberals choked on their tongues"?? I think some deference to
verifiable facts wouldn't go amiss, here. Your post about the attitudes of
officialdom to guns on boats being area-specific got *one* reply, in which
the respondent advocated personal survival by means of the thoroughly
non-provocative tactic of not having guns at all. You then responded with
what can only be described as something approaching a "gun nut rant". With
this slavering, anti-liberal, John Wayne stance, you came across as one who
thinks that problems can be solved with guns.

I think this post alone would group you right with them.

What, I just turned up, therefore I'm one of them? I can't say that that's
the most stunningly-precise example of formal logic that I've encountered.
Were it otherwise, one could conclude that, since you've just turned up, you
must be one of them too.

... If not, why
would you egg on a dead topic of no relevance. Maybe you are not as
tenacious but you are still on their field.

Do you know what I mean by "curricular interest"? My normal line of work is
IT. In a previous existence, I've written software to translate mail from
one format to another. It might seem twee and irrelevant to you, but I have
a technical interest in all that header stuff.

Anyone else in this world would consider the places I have been to make
me a bit of an expert in that area. ...

I've been to Limassol in Cypress, but I would hardly describe myself as an
expert in that area.

... Inner peace is not an issue for me to deal with as I am not much
afraid of clowns.

I wasn't equating inner peace with a fear of clowns.

it's not stolen identity that makes most writers use other names. Most
do by the way. You know the big name ones but remember that all the
small name ones are doing it to. Elton John, Madonna, Billy Joel, David
Bowie, just think about it and it isn't that hard to figure out. Now, if
there are no further questions-

You know what, you are hot air and that is why you scream so load to
cover it up. You have never done anything note worthy but at least i try
not to rub it in. The picture you were making fun of me about has me
sporting a some like it hot baja haha shirt. How do you think you get
one of those? Are you really so hung up with boredom that you need to
make a fool of yourself like this? This is so stupid. I don't want to
lower myself to your level again. These posts are wrong and you are
wrong. I am an accomplished musician that graduated from Hamilton Music
Academy in west los angeles then went to on from there to do many things
that others never get to. I had the chance because of my talent and the
fact that i had exposure to the right people. If you can't handle that
some people are successful then to bad. Get use to disappointment.

I owned Los Angeles Sky Safari in Van Nuys airport and I have a
commercial pilot and CFI. I also have a uscg license. How do you think
someone gets those licenses? You can look them up to confirm them. They
are public record. Try looking up trademarks under my name. There you
will find more evidence that I succeed. Look up copyrights at the US
copyright office and search my name and see what comes up. Most of what
I have written won't be there but that doesn't mean you want be reading
a novel of titles that I have copyrighted under my name. It only means
that for every one you read there are about 50 more you won't. Each one
of those copyrights is a catalog. Each catalog has between 20 and 100
songs in it. Look up the owner of Sandy Feet Publishing at BMI, Look up
Sandy Cove publishing at ASCAP. Look up Sandy Island Inc in nevada and
then go blow it out your ear with bothering me any more. You want a
list, compile yourself because I have stopped giving out resumes about
1986 when Orion Tv started using me to write their music. I haven't
needed to do a thing since then except use my talent. I certainly am not
going to waste my time trying to please you.

That's easy. You have made them up.

so if I didn't make them up what type of apology are you ready to
render? You know damn well that a picture of me in the Panama Canal puts
me in the canal. How did I get there on my boat, the same boat that was
in LA and is now in Miami and verifiably so?

It is better to be thought of as a fool then to open your mouth and
remove all doubt. You have opened your mouth many times.

Really... a .357 S&W.... I've always held the belief it was a "Lady's
Round" but some guys seem to take pride in mentioning it. The Dan Wesson
though comes target ready from the factory. Interchangeable barrels,
adjustable flash gap, muzzle brake ports, excellent sights and the way the
barrel is mounted with a shroud it almost completely removes any barrel
whip. The .44 Mag can be easily handled and fired by a woman with minimum
felt recoil.

I've taken Black Bear with mine... one shot.... 60 yards. I've also hand
loaded #9 shot into special shotshells designed for a .44mag and hunted
grouse. I had a hollow point load as the last bullet and one day and a
friend shot a grouse believing it was a shotshell round.... it looked like
someone had placed a stick of dynamite into a feather pillow case. What a
shame and a waste of good meat.

Samoa, Tonga.... I worked in Samoa as a commercial diver.... belonged to the
Pago Yacht Club. The entire coast of Brazil from the Recife to Puerto Alegre
where my family has several sailboats at Velieros Du Sol. The Bahamas
[Eluthra through Yellow bank and the Exuma Cays], BVI's, Jamaica, The
Beaufort Sea, Hudson's Bay, Prince William Sound, Great Slave Lake, The
Great Lakes... a week around 1000 Islands and the Pacific Northwest from
Salt Spring to Prince Rupert. The North Atlantic from Prince Edward Island
to Lunenburg.... I fished here commercially for several years when I was a
teenager.

I'm not an expert on any of it.... I'm experienced..... but I'm a better
than average sailor and very good around the water. Heck... I just finished
a 4 hour dive to set moorings and deploy new docks at my friend's marina.

Where is the twist you consistently claim to encounter..... maybe you
